Car Guys @ VIR This Weekend - Who's Going
I am looking forward to the Car Guys event at VIR this weekend. Who else from the forum will be going ? Maybe we can get together for a cold one or dinner Saturday evening ?

I will be there on either late Friday evening or Saturday. I'll probably just have time to teach on Saturday though. The VIR National is next weekend so this is a good time for me to refamiliarize myself with the track and help out some folks too! I haven't run this track since the Phoenix guys did the suspension and tuned the engine. I can't wait to see how it feels!!!!

I'd love to be there Curtis, but there are too many other things going on in my live at preaent.
I'm an o'l CAR GUY, and have been going to Car Guy events for about 15 years. The owner, Aryan, runs a high class event, and has been going to VIR ever since it reopened several years ago. Say hello to Aryan and Cathy for me, and have a blast.

Wish i was going , it has been a long summer waiting for my engine to be rebuilt , was hoping to make this one, but delivery of the short block got pushed back to this friday again. Doubt that the sedan ( IS350 ) would be a good substitue

Myself and "Wild Bill" Johnston will be there. We were both recently at the Watkins Glen Cars Guys event which was great.
Hey Jim we will miss you. Oh you to Wayne.

Brad, Bill, Jim and Crew,
Sorry to miss you guys at VIR. I always try to make the CG event there but but have a pending trip. Will probably make VIR with CG in Oct and Audi in Nov. After driving the track in my head for most of the year, it's time to actually do it. Stay cool!

Heeey Jeff,
I've been around!
I do miss our "core group"... but did get to see the Mayor & Mazda R-8 Rob @ R/A. Also saw Wild Bill at Barber with Chin.
This year's events.... so far:
1. Road Atlanta... March with Peachstate BMW
2. Barber... April with Alabama SCCA
3. Sebring... late April with Viper Days
4. Road Atlanta... July with Peachstate BMW
5. Barber... late July with Chin
I'm probably going to do Roebing with Chin... another Road Atlanta with BMW and have signed up for Tom's Corvette adventure @ CMP. Also I might jump over to Barber with another BMW club, later this year.
It's nice having both Road Atlanta & Barber nearby... kinda in my back yard!!!
IMO... The two tracks compliment each other offering a nice variety.
Cya @ the Track,

It is easier for me to get to CMP and Roebling - but Rd Atl is not too much farther. Guess I need to get tied in with more groups running at Rd Atl needing instructors! You and Tim get lots of options there.
