Probably not. Too much money in NASCAR, ad endorsements, etc.

I would say that his sponsors and team has told him that he can not run in ALMS ever..

Not that I know anything or anyone in the know...

my $0.02. They've got millions invested in him and the lawyers don't see the fire from his last ALMS is a fluke, just an unnecessary risk. I'll be his sponsors told him to knock it off too

GM is also one of his sponsors since they provide the support for Chevy race teams. But I bet the biggest reason is that ALMS is not a France enterprise. You notice that Tony Stewart and the other NASCAR drivers seem to have a green light to run in the Rolex series cars and there is just as much risk there as there is in ALMS.

It would be great to have him back as it brings lots of needed exposure to ALMS, but he wasn't exactly competitive....and he nearly killed himself.
Maybe he needs to practice some road courses on playstation some more.
