Those rear view mirrors are retarded. Might as well just have some cameras, or wide angle viewers with an LCD display in the car.

I was going to say something about parts and service but I suppose if you can afford this, you can afford to just load it into a Fed-Ex plane and fly it there overnight. I'd rather have a used jet fighter or P-51 Mustang.

I'd take the P-51 and the difference in cash.

A mil or 2. Jack Roush has one. You can get a F-4 Phantom for $1.5 million. Heck, a brand new F-16 is mid $20's.

I agree, the mirrors have got to go. It's like they built the car and someone noticed they forgot the mirrors.

That's one Mustang I love...

These are models I've built (hope I don't get in trouble for hijacking)

The bit about lower drag and higher downforce than the Enzo just goes to show how good the original P4 was in the first place.

I happen to think the P4 was the prettiest of all of the "golden age" of the prototype cars, much better looking than the Ford GT's or any of the others. Just my opinion, but they ought to just bring back the P4. I'd bet there'd be hundreds of folks in line to by one of them... I might even have to hock the wife and kid....

In 1982 a guy my Dad knew sold his H model P-51 for $75,000 - to the Whittington brothers. I guess it would have been a good investment.
A Podiatrist my Dad knew sold his P-51 (D model?) for $750,000 to Sir Robby Landplough 10 years ago (divorce settlement).
Is it now worth $2,000,000???

You're welcome to them but they're only about an inch long

I've always been a WWII fighter plane buff, the P51 being my favorite. these were all taken on my garage floor and backgrounds superimposed. No retouch on the planes though.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Maybe I'll get around to finishing hte b17 that's half done in my closet
