Default Roebling Road 29Sep plus 30Sep-1Oct?

Who else is headed down to check out the new pavement at Roebling Road? I am able to get three full track days with only one trip.

It will be my first look at the new track - probably will not be able to find my way around at all!

Hopefully it is easier on tires now

I signed up for Nasa last night. Who are you going with on Fri?

I think I will also sign up for the TT ...should be able to do pretty well, the times for TTB at road atlanta were real slow, except for the silva that ran 1:34 , somebody screwed up big time on the classing with that one!

SeatTime - racerjon1@aol.com - he probably needs some more instructors.

I won TTB - both days - there last time with the FRC. A Silvia running 1:34 legal in TTB? Maybe if I can borrow another AMD I might run it again to give you some competition!

We will be staying at the track Fri and Sat nights......

That would be great, it would be tough for me since you know that track so well! I'd definitely need the Friday to get some pointers from you, so I'll check with seattime.

But you forget I value my life and vehicle so that gives you a huge advantage!

Be happy to give you some pointers - though the visual cues will ahve changed a bit I am sure. Last time I was there I worked on off track references to help me transistion to the new surface....

That is great - you are welcome to bivouac with us. You going to make all three days? We will be showing up - I think Friday AM in time for tech - though I may come down Thursday night if anyone else is going to be there.

I figure loosing the sperm will cost me at least a 0.5 second

I don't think I'll make Friday, but I'll probably take you up on the place to crash. Should be pretty cool by then.

Todd - looking forward to seeing you again - what have you done to the Cobra since Rockingham? It was quite nice temp wise at CMP last weekend in the evening/night - gnats were the only minor nuisance.

There is another three day event in November - SeatTime on Friday and Chin on Sat & Sun - I plan to be there all three...17-19 November. More track time then you can ever use....

CHIN is good. SAFE offers even more track time. I went to a PBOC event awhile back just to check it out but track time is

Jeff,
It will be good to see you guys too. I haven't done much to the car. I put on a new set of Carbotechs and bought a set of the discontinued Hoosiers, what a great deal! I may have the cage and harnesses in by then.
Right now my priority is to get a truck and trailor. I'm about sick of driving to the track and hoping all weekend I don't do anything to my car and lose my ride home.

I'm planning on the Chin event. When I was there with them last time I got so much seat time I actually passed on part of a session or two...

Hopefully by then a certain person I know will have spray painted a mark where the sperm used to be (he's threatened to do so) That way I might actually find it, once... I'll probably be bugging that guy to ride with me again. I'm sure I picked up a few seconds last time I was there with him in the co-pilot seat.

It can probably get me acting like I am in my teens - but my times will still be in the 1:20's (if I am lucky) ......

Tom - I had no problem breaking Uncle Sam's equipment - someone else fixes it!

Todd - you will love the Carbotech's and those cheap Hoosiers - I know all about worrying how to get a broke car home!

Graham - be glad to shave a few more seconds off your lap times!

jeff
