Default allignment

Does anyone know the best allignment for running a C6 Z51 with 18's all around and Hoosier race tires. I am running mostly auto-x. Thanks.

I'm running that setup.

I've got 12,000 miles on the car and about 25 miles of it is autox. Since I spend a lot more time on the street than at autox or track days I've gone with about -1.3 in the F and -.8 in the R & zero toe. -1.5 F & -.9 R is about max if it's a daily driver IMO. You can screw a little toe out in F when you change to race tires very easily.

Have fun.

My C6 Z51 that does autox/track duties on the stock Supercars is -1.1 F / -0.9 R with a little toe-out in front, and a little toe-in in back. Probably near 5000 miles now, 300 (?) track miles, and 4 days of 5 runs/day autox?

You don't need any luck, you just need the right tools and a little experience (and good instructions!). Eventually everyone who does track events or Auto-X ends up doing it themselves because there is no such thing as a compromise setup. Why waste your tires on the street and track with a setup that is slower at the track, and cooks your tires on the street?
FYI, did you see this?

But it's really the camber I'd like to change between every day driving and the track.

PS- Don't let me put another order through without including your camber locks/plates and the alignment tool... what's involved in installing the camber pieces?

Yes, true, but whenever you change camber, you have to reset the toe. I'll email you the instructions for both.
Thanks again,
Gary
