Back reminds me of a Griffith/TVR??

I like the stance from the front. 450 ponies, carbon fiber and aluminum....should be quick.

IIRC, the 8C will be built as a limited production run of 500

yep my friend had a TVR Griffin with a modified 289 in High School nice to be a rich kid. I think it ran near 12 flat and in 1970 that was fast for a street car

My Dad and a friend peddled sports cars for a while in the 60s. The friend had a Griffith for a short while - during which he went through 3 rearends. The diffs didn't like 360s (donuts) and the idiot kept showing off and doing them.

One nite I hear "Rump..Rump..Rump" backing into the driveway (i was about 11 ). I run out and this stunning black sports car is backing in - beautiful tiny red tailights - it was dark. Wire wheels and side curtains.
It was a 289 Shelby Cobra - my Dad explained it was an AC Bristol ( or Bristol AC?) with Ford powertrain....289 HIPO (271hp?). If memory serves me right he paid $2700 and flipped it for $3200....only kept it for a few weeks.
I liked the Griffith......but the Shelby was heaven on wheels

I have heard rumors that Alfa has been scouting around in the US about entering a racing series here next year (or soon). It seems likely that it would be a 159 sedan from the WTCC series - so maybe in the SWC.

Although Alfa has been full of rumors - with the exception of the 8C finally reaching production. That may go to LeMans but we'll see.
