Default Going Autocrossing this Saturday?

Is anyone on the Forum planning on going to the NCCC Autocross near Jacksonville, FL this Saturday?
It's a brand new site and might be a great place to play.

OOOOOH Johnny!
I'm green with envy.
Have fun at Roebling and give us a line on the new pavement there.

I'll definitely be there. Got the 710s mounted today which was the last piece of the puzzle for getting the car at least runnable for the weekend. Hardbar is mounted, but still waiting on belts, so I might be flopping around a bit. By the way, Gary, that shift **** rules. Totally old skool. Funy how something so small can make such a big difference.

Went down to South Florida earlier this week and visited Diablosport (don't worry, I'll be autocrossing in stock tune to stay legal) and installed the Magnaflow exhaust. I'll have video of everything up on the web soon, but the condensed version is about 10hp from the exhaust and 6hp from the electronics in each trim (+6hp over bone stock and +6hp over exhaust with stock electronics settings). They expected more, but also said that we had one of the stoutest bone stock LS1s they'd ever seen (301hp and 315tq bone stock on their Superflow dyno).

Looking at satellite imagery of the new site it looks awesome. How much of it do we get to use, Locke? Also, I noticed that the flyer says that it's actually five events. How's that work?

We have one other guy from the mag who might try to run, and David will probably stop by to shoot some pictures since I think he and his wife are going to St. Augustine for the day anyway. I'll also bring some magazines and stickers for everyone.

J.G.
We generally run 1 run for each event, take a break, then run the second run for each event, in this case for a total of 10 runs. I haven't seen the Green Cove site yet, but it should be a blast!

Cya there

Here's the site from space. I especially like those two big circles in the middle. Wonder how much of the concrete we get to use?

I was going to try to describe the area Sean has under his lease but you'll be there tomorrow so I'll save my fingers.
As you can see, the skid pads have trees between them but the big circle should be safe to run. We have from the top left hand runway down and to the left on the one that ends at the left hand side of the picture. The active runway in the diagnoal one along the bottom.
The course won't use everything we have since the site is new and we lack the workers to run real spread out.
Remember, Sean would love to rent the place to Grassroots for testing if you guys can use it.

I have to go and start counting Toyota parts now. You guys have a nice time and I'll try to stop after inventory at the Warehouse tomorrow.

Have fun Locke. If any first-gen MR2 parts get misplaced during inventory remember to holla at your boy here...

We do most of our testing at the kart track in Ocala, but this certainly looks like it would be better suited for higher speed stuff. I'll definitely get the details.
