Default Data Aquisition Recommendations?

DATA AQUISITION. In the spring I'm looking to add a new data A system. I would like to have GPS/Telemetry and engine monitoring, particularly sometype of real time display for air-fuel mixture/exhaust gasses as I have Mechanical (non electronic) fuel injection with a Dial-A-Jet to change "pills" while driveing. It would be nice to get a single system with as much capability as possible, including logging....Recommendations?.....

http://www.g2xtreme.com/main.htm

They look like they will do what you need, GPS data acq. with AFR sensors and others. Not inexpensive once you start adding sensors though.

jlucas is fond of the Race Technology DL1 and I'm a booster of the G2X.

We've had some good discussions in past threads. Here are three
for you to browse (others will come up using the Advanced Search
with the Archives box checked):

Traqmate group buy

Thoughts on Data Loggers?

Data Acquisition

I currently have the means to log the following inputs:

The Throttle Position (0-5 V) and Accusump Pressure (0-75 PSI)
sensors are actually generic ones from Racepak that I have configured
for their current applications. They can be easily repurposed and I am
going to move the 0-75 PSI sensor to the exhaust this fall to record
backpressure. (Note that this requires a length of tubing from the
exhaust to mount the sensor away from the heat)

The A/F input is currently driven by an Innovate LC-1 controller
and I have a Innovate gauge in the circuit. However, I recently
picked up a Powerdex (NGK) A/F gauge and intend to integrate
it into the system. RacePak/MSD offers the Powerdex already
configured.

I may add a thermal-couple sensor to record front caliper temperatures.

Edited to correct from 'TraqMate' to 'Race Technology DL1'

Just to clarify, that's incorrect. I sell and support the Race Technology DL1 (maybe the G2X in the future). The TraqMate just does not measure up to the others both in software and with regards to inputs.

Post your questions in the other threads to keep things together. I just wanted to clarify Slalom's statement to avoid confusion if someone get's this thread in a search.

Also here's another thread with DL1 and Driftbox info:
If you like tech....

Oops. My apologies for the mistake, I have no idea why I got mixed up on this.

I will edit the original post above to correct the oversight.
