Default Our World Challenge Car

[/IMG]John Boos and I are co-owners of this WC car. He has an SCCA Pro license and I just do open track days. I've driven this car 3 times in the last two weeks and it drives like a dream. We are set to go to Laguna Seca next week for its World Challenge GT race debut. We tried at Road America, but suffered a practice day crash that took us out. We were trying to sort the car 2 days before its first race and let's just say that didn't work. We are hoping not to be a back marker, but it is its first race and the driver's first time at Laguna.

Best of luck in the race, nice car. Tough first time at a track and Laguna doesn't seem the easiest track to master the first time out. Do what is comfortable. Even then enough can go haywire. Safe racing and just do what is comfortable.

We have a huge radiator and a separate oil cooler in front of the radiator. After two consecutive run groups on a 75 degree day the oil temp was 180 and coolant 185 degrees. I don't think we'll have a heating problem.

Looks like a nice ride...good luck @ Laguna...very similar to my wannabe WC. Is that Gary's Wing and if you wouldn't mind me asking, what spring rates are you running(assuming coil overs)and degree of wing angle...looking for basis to start...Pm me if you rather!

Thanx from a fellow DRMC500 RSR to WC wannabe!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Ed, I don't know the spring rates of the coilovers but I'll see if I can find out. Our wing angle will vary from track to track. I'll see if I can find out what we will be running at Laguna.

Cool Aaron, I hope the car smokes the competition. Yikes, better not use the word smokes when talking about race cars. I'm looking forward to some warmer temps too as we are supposed to have a high in the 30s the next couple of days.
