slotted rotors are still going to be a problem. It is a weak point where the rotor can crack. The rockauto blank solid rotors for $100 shipped and then the cost of some high temp paint to paint the hats is really a good deal if you think about it.
I am not sure what the dimples do except probably wear down pads faster. Maybe someone else can give the benefit of dimpled...

Mine were dimpled and slotted, and I was running HP+s up front and put massive heat checks in them autoXing, then cracked one clean through on my last autoX event.
My rears are still good, you can have em for a 24 pack of Corona and shipping

I would recomend the RacingBrake slotted 2pc front and rear rotors for the C6 Z06 and Z51 package. (sorry not available for the C5's)
You save 9lbs per rotor! By far the best performance per $

The Corvette Z06 2006 rotors were engineered to be the best stock replacement two-piece rotor on the performance market. This rotor is direct bolt-on, easy to install, no additional hardware needed, and an excellent upgrade for both street and track. Not only will the rotors last 3 times or more longer than competitions' two-piece rotors, they can deliver consistent brake torque under extreme heat, session after session. When it comes to replacement - operating cost over the time will be lower than one-piece rotor.
Weight Comparison
OE RB Savings
26 lbs. 17 lbs. 9 lbs.
Racingbrake offers complete satisfaction guarantee to you and other Corvette enthusiasts; if you don't agree that they are the best two-piece rotors in value, look and performance your money can buy just return them for a full refund.

Kingkyle may wish to get a forum venders agreement before the big Boot comes.
Comercail venders do need to pay a fee to advertise.
an individual may sell personal items in the 4 sale section.

Will these rotors fit under a stock C5 wheel? Shoot me a price for 2 fronts to Supervetteracer@aol.com

I can get the C5 Z06 rotors made if there is enough demand for them... please post if you would be interested!
I can honestly say the RacingBrake 2pc rotors beat everything else out there.
I dont drive a Z06 but I managed to click off a 59.7 at Lime Rock last weekend and the only modification I made to my car was the RacingBrake 2pc front and rear rotors with the Hawk DTC-70 pads since my last 1:02
My car weighs about 3,000lbs

Notice how quick and smooth the speed is cut in the brake zone... i've tried Performance friction and a number of other brands. Nothing compares.

Larry,
Which model vette do you have?
We have many pro racers running slotted rotors at the track withot any issues. In our opinion, the extra bite you get from slots vs. plain are worth it.
Yes, drilled rotors crack more easily under aggressive driving. BUT, you would probably never see much difference with drilled rotors under aggressive street driving. Racetrack conditions far exceed anything you could ever produce on the street.
KingKyle,
What data do you have to support such a statement, and how specifically are they better than our StopTech options? I don't believe your personal opinion based on using one or two other products for subjective comparison is valid data to make such a sweeping statement.

video didn't play but I doubt you will see a smoother stop in a video. What would a C5 13" rotor weigh? WHere are they made?
