Straight off HJC's website, I can double check but I remember it saying something on the back of the helmet, like DOT approved.
Which SNELL rating??

Ok.

If is just says "Snell Aproved" and does not have a specific rating, it is would not be accpeted on any race track.

The Snell M95 is a old motorcycle helmet.

http://www.smf.org/

most road race clubs now require SA2000 and SA2005 with a few going back to SA95.

No, it has to do with the SCCA, NCCC, BMW, PCA, and other sanctioned clubs that do competitive and/or track events. They *do* run in states not limited to the south.

Have a good one,
Mike

They are NOT MY STANDARDS FOR MY CLUB. My club requires SA or M2000 or newer. We highly recomend SA2000 or SA 2005 which are the same standards of all most all HPDEs or car clubs that conduct track days, not to mention SCCA, NASA, or NCCC helmet requirenments.

Drag racing, NHRA or other Drag racing sanctioned tracks standards are differnt the HPDEs or car clubs that conduct track days.

Motorcycles standards are differnt as well.

Oh my 'club' has some 30,000+ members .

So why are you in the autocross/road race forum, advertising helmets for autocross, when you then state that they're for drag racing and motorcycles?

Mr. Mojo, kindly remove thread.....way too much crap to contend with this thread. Was just trying to sell a helmet instead I started a SNELL rating war or something.

Thanks Bud.
