Default WIlwood SL-6 bleeder size

Hey guys,
I have a couple broken bleeder screws that id like to replace on my SL-6 woods. Are these bleeders specifc to wilwoods or can i just get some speedys at the local parts store? IF so, do you know the size?
The previous owner got carried away i guess ;o)

thanks!

You need to get special bleeders from Wilwood. Sadly they are not the same size as the bleeders on the Wilwood calipers used by the circle track racers. They come in a 4 pack. My local circle track parts supplier was able to order them from his catalog.

As I said the bleeders for some of the other Wilwood calipers would not fit the SL6 calipers. I had them in my hand and was able to compare the two. I am not sure which bleeder is referred to in this link but am suspicious since it says "all".

I'm running SL6 calipers with speed bleeders. They are nothing special, something like 1/4-28 thread, I don't recall exactly. I picked up them up off the shelf at Napa, very standard size.

They seat into the larger brass fittings, I presume to protect the aluminum caliper.

if you have some OEM calipers around, you can take the insert out and use the OEM sized bleeders
