Default Camera mount options w/o harness bar?

Are there any viable camera mount options with having a harness bar? Doing VIR in 2 weeks and would like to mount video camera. The one from my TA that mounts to passenger head rest will not work in Z. Suggestions and links.

Thanks.

I used one of these for a couple years before I put my crossbar in - worked pretty well as long as you make sure it's stuck on good.

Hope that helps!

Did you hang that off your body or put it on the roof? That would be some cool video. Seems like a temporary fix until I get the bar. Thanks.

I hung it from the back window on the inside. It worked well, but the little wires that do the rear defrost cause the cups to leak a little bit over time (so you have to push it back on good before each session at a HPDE or each run at an autoX). I am planning - either this summer or next spring - to stick the thing on the outside of the car and shoot some video that way. It stays on VERY well on smooth surfaces. The only bad thing about mounting to the back window is that the camera ends up hanging upside-down, so you'll have to rotate your video when you turn it into a movie. Other than that, it works slick for a minimal investment.

Here's a video I shot with this mount a while back - you can see the camera moves around a little, but not bad at all.
