Default Cumberland MD Autocross

I went to the 2 day autocross event in Cumberland MD this weekend; this is held on the same airport runway that used to host sports car races in the 50s-1970

Just a terrific event, great people, atmosphere and a catered crab and corn feast to finish up Saturday. I think I will make it back for a few more events.

They are having a hill climb this weekend in Flinstone MD also.

I attended the sports car races at Cumberland in 1966, 1968 and 1969, was a great time, glad to see they are keeping this alive.

People here in Pittsburgh talk about the Cumberland event, nothing but praises. I hope I get to an event before I head back east.

I had family obligations this weekend; they were rewarding but I hope to see you at the next Road Rally. I went once and it was a nice time. Hope to see you there.

We were wondering who had the red C6, don't remember seeing it there before. Glad you had a good time, I was running the gray C4 with the silver wheels in the third heat, #305, it's my home turf up that way, usually make all their events. Good group.

I was at the NVCC's HPDE event at Summit Point on Friday(main track...not jefferson or shenendoah). It was my first time there. Had my stickies on. It took a little bit to get my nerve up. Had 4 runs w/instructor. nobody wet their pants.
Will watch for future events at Cumberland. What were run times?

Your car looked very smooth.

I will try to make the Sept event and perhaps the Oct one too.
