Default Barber Motorsports Park Oct 13-14 Rollcall

We were wondering who might be attending the NASA event at Barber in Oct. Nancy and I will be there and Camp Redneck will be up and open to all. Stop by and say HI.

Camp Redneck

Default Barber

Bob: say hello to Nancy for me. I am going to Roebling in September with NASA and may go to Barber to close out the season. If I go, I will stop by for a beer. Hope to see you soon.
It was great seeing you two at VIR.

Well, if I can get my timing chain fixed by then (just broke yesterday @ Road Atlanta), I'll bring the Red Beast out to play. If not, I may look for alternatives...Blue Steel maybe?

Did you take the valve cover off and find out that it was the timing chain? From the video, that was the quietest break I've ever heard (or not heard).

Wasn't much to it, was there? Yeah, I took off the cover and turned it over...no activity there, so almost certainly is the chain. Or at least something in the timing set. How about you? Did you finally go back and get your car???

Congrats on the trophy. I am really hoping that you can show me what not to do. I read about your exploits there. I am certainly glad you are ok and the damage to the car was minimal. Are you bringing 1 or 2 cars? Maybe we can get all the Bowtie crowd together in the paddock.

At most we will be bringing one car....I can definitely tell you one thing not to do there - I'm not showing that to anybody (else)...Jake was still telling me about it blow by blow this last weekend

I suspect getting in and sorted out will be a task at Barber since the gates will not open till 5:30 or so to us (more than likely). But I am all for a Bowtie Corral

I too will be going. I will be driving my brother Toms mustang in the time trials. My car is still being repaired from the Road Atlanta accident last April. I think we will do well at Barbers. I have a little bit of track knowledge being its my home track. David

Well, I'm a home builder, so with that being said I'm trying to get rid of some inventory. A soon as that happens the ol' girl is going into the shop to get the body repaired. The next phase is to gut the car and put a full SCCA approved gage so I can go racing.

Here is the schedule Sports fans. 3 HPDE runs on Sat and 4 on Sun.
http://www.nasa-southeast.com/schedule.pdf

Hey Jody, what will you be doing Sun? TT? If you need "pit help" on sat I can help between my runs and classroom.

See y'all there. We are heading out shortly and will be arriving at BMP early friday to go through the museum and just generally be a nuisance.

Bob

PS. Watch out for my killer watch dog
