Default For Sale:2 track days at Watkins Glen w/Phoenix CMR

I"m signed up for 2 HPDE track days at Watkins Glen on Monday August 20 and Tuesday August 21 and will be unable to attend because my car is inoperable at this point. I went to Phoenix's Glen event back in June and these guys are great. There are 3 run groups, with each group running 4 - 40 minute sessions per day as well as in class instruction. If you want to be in the novice group, these guys are very accomodating about meeting your needs. $390 for the two days. Can't beat that price!

Thanks Bill. I was looking forward to applying all the great feedback I learned from you but my car is not going to be ready. Hope to see you there next year!

Who is Phoenix? I've run with a number of groups--PDA, Chin, NCM, etc., etc., but never heard of them. I'd be interested in getting some info. Do they have a web site or anything?

Phoenix CMR is an org. run out of Rochester NY. I've driven with TracQuest, BMWCCA, PDA and Chin Motorsports as well. I think Phoenix and Joe Q. are much more approachable. Great organization and the events are very well run with tons of track time. The prices are much cheaper also. Here's the website.....

http://www.phoenixcmr.com/

I've sent an email to Joe about a refund, but if you want to purchase my spot I'm sure that can be arranged.

Here is Phoenix's web site. http://www.phoenixcmr.com/events.htm

This is a nice relaxed event. Group I students get instructors and are on the track for 25 minute sessions. If qualified a Group I student will be moved up to Group II upon the instructors OK. Group II and Group III students get 45 minutes. The instructors run with the Group III students so there is more track time for everybody.

For repeat participants Joe offers a discount and he also offers discounts to people who bring in new students.

Thanks for posting the added info Bill. FWIW, Bill is one of the best instructors I've ever had at an HPDE event. Great guy and an awesome driver! TTT...I'm surprised no one has snapped up this spot yet.
