The NewEngland region SCCA got this email.
He was told his money was no good at the event, and that everything would be paid for.
Just got the following email.

Well I am home on my R&R Leave from Iraq and I have picked up my new Mustang
GT. I plan to attend the August 5th Solo Event at Ft Devens.
Not sure if I am going to give it a try, but it wont take much coaxing to
get me out there.
What exactly will I need to do in order to participate ? I have already
joined SCCA, I have a Helmet, not sure what else I need to do prior to
showing up to the event.

After looking over the Gingerman thread I was afraid this was going to be another thread that outraged me. Great to see a group take care of the ones taking care of us.

Today is the 29 anniversary of me taking the oath to "Uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic".
I've been real lucky to not have been deployed to the sandbox but must admit a feeling of guilt about that too.
Thanks to all who have served everywere and any time.
Thank you to the New England Region for giving this serviceman a reward and showing appreciation for what he and so many others are doing on behalf of our country.
