Default AutoX @ Carlisle 8/26?

Has anyone done the AutoX during Corvettes @ Carlisle before?
looking forward to doing but I wanted to know if anyone had any experience and if the event sells out on Friday's? I may not be able to make it up on Friday to register and wanted to know if anyone else has registered the day before or day of the event

I think this is the first year that Corvettes at Carlisle is doing an autocross in conjunction with the show.

I wasn't at Carlisle last year, but I was there in 05 when the local NCCC club hosted the inaugural autocross event - I participated that year and it was a blast! It was held at the extreme back of the fairgrounds area, on a small section that the local NCCC and SCCA clubs (evidently) often use for events.

It was said at the time that Lance was very interested in doing an autocross at Corvettes@Carlisle every year if it was a popular event.

I'm not sure about registration, but I believe that there will be a cap in the number of attendees. I will be there this year with my Z06! Hope to see you there

What Donna said ...
Cumberland Valley Corvette Club does it as an instructional event ...
Dave W will probably be the event chair ... introducing AutoX to those who have not done one.
Contact cvcc@ernccc.org for information.
