Those w/ G-Meters or Data Acquisition
What peak G's are you seeing? I've been playing around with a G-Tech Pro RR the last 2 events and just wanted to see how my readings compare. I've seen one spike as high as 1.39Gs lateral, but 1.30 seems to be a consistent max. I need to go buy a Serial to USB adapter so I can download the runs and check out my G circle etc.
Anybody else...

Be sure to buy that USB adapter and download the runs.....then you could teach me how to use it!!!!!
Seriously, I have never figured out how to interpret the data on their software.

I'll have to look at my accel specs again... I thought I remembered much higher than that (~450rwhp) but lower on braking. I notice your left and right readings have a large disparity... was it zeroed well before the run? On the run I saw 1.39 it was only one way, so I wonder if these really really high spikes are false readings? I saw plenty of 1.28-1.32 peak readings both directions though so I am fairly confident in ~1.30 as an approx peak.

PS- looking at the log times that's road course right? Somewhere in the manual it says its not accurate on banked turns.

It was "zero"ed and it was on a road course(Infinion) and it was thru the carousel(banked) on V710's. TJ, if you want to use my serial to USB adapter and my GTech software, just let me know; I have got to be down in Campbell on Monday.

I used one of those for a while and you're in the ball park. I'm now using the DL1 and with my T1 car, I see up to about 1.5, but a lot depends on the track, temp, and of course set up. I'm using the Kumho V710s.

On 100% flat ground 1.30 is pretty decent then, I take it? My car needs some pretty serious susp. work though (well, really just shocks but it needs them in a major way):
This was NOT the result of a quick/rough yank on the wheel, this was a steady turn, albeit decreasing radius.
Sydney, thanks for the offer but I have the software and access to more serial to usb adapters than I know what to do with... I just need to get around to it.
