Default Redline Time Attack Championships at Laguna Seca, November 9th-11th

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to create a thread here for our Redline:Time Attack! Championships at Laguna Seca this November 9th-11th. Our Championships event is open to the general public and you DO NOT have to qualify for them. The event is limited to the first 100 vehicles that sign up, so if you are interested in competing, PLEASE sign up soon. We will reach our capacity of 100 vehicles for this event.

Also, Friday, November 9th is an Open Track Day....Everyone is welcome to attend and you do not have to participate in the Time Attack on Saturday & Sunday. The cost for Friday at Laguna Seca is only $300 and you will receive 2 to 2.5 hours of track time that day.

For more information regarding the Championships event, please visit our website:

Saturday and Sunday are for the Time Attack participants; Friday appears to be the only day for HPDE.

Are the "Noise ****'s" going to be in effect and only allow the pitifull 92db limit? It sucks for the guys with cars that actually make power and noise to try and go, only to get black flagged and have to stop.

Not sure if you guys know who James Sofronas is but he usually shows up for the Unlimited RWD in a GT3 cup car fully sorted race car. It would be almost impossible to get him without a gutted race car. It's basically like racing against Lou. I'm thinking about trying the modified class. I have an extra set of Pirelli Corsas for the over 50 treadwear tires. Seems like there will be a lot of room on the track and private garages. Could be a lot of fun. Is anyone else going?

It should be a pretty stacked field. Will Mark Daddio compete in the AMS Evo? I am sure that the Unlimited RWD's will be in the very low 1:30's or high 1.20's. You should go and report back. www.speedventures.com will be running on Friday with their own group as well.

Sounds like fun but it is also the weekend of the All Corvette NCM event
at Spring Mountain MSP. If anyone tries it out, let us know how it went.
