Default GM Tech Support at SCCA Solo Nationals

Kinda surprised to have not seen anything here. Check this out:

http://www.sccabb.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=5750&PN=1

GM Vehicle Soloists: General Motors will have technical support at the Solo Nationals this year. Our GM Performance Division will have engineers and technicians on site to help you as needed. We will have tools, alignment & scales, and documentation to help you be successful. Come and visit us in garages 24 & 25 from September 24 - 28. Best wishes!

That was very well hidden. I see the GMPD rig near the garages, but *** by thereumed they were testing for the runoffs (solstices and cobalts on Thurs. and Friday). Sounds like we'll have to swing by there.

Bet they don't have a tech that knows how to set up a 1972 C-3.

Probably not but hopefully at least the same opportunity is there for any GM vehicle, not just the latest and greatest.

Good luck Jim and everyone else!

provette67:

Thanks for the wishes. First day of Super Stock wrapped up with the top Vette in seventh place - if memory serves me correctly. 69 entrants and 67 posted times.

Lotus Elise (Pat Salerno) in the lead with a Porsche GT3 (Ian Stewart) in second place.

GM has been providing support in terms of scaling, alignments, and other such support services. Great to see an OEM providing support to the autocrossing community.
