Default Advice on Replacement Springs

I have a 2001 C5 convertible that I have removed the F45 shocks and replaced with Bilsteins. Also, the suspension has been lowered about 1 inch on the OEM bolts - no bushings have been cut.

My wife and I autocross the car about 4 or 5 times each year and take 3 or 4 road trips (about 3,000 miles each) annually so ride quality is important.

I have installed a set of OEM Z06 sway bars with the aluminum end links.

The car now has about 87,000 miles on it - we just finished a plant tour in BG, Kentucky and it was a blast!

I was looking at the VBP Extreme springs but was wondering what you autocrossers would advise.

Appreciate your time.

I would think that the "extreme" springs would be too harsh for a 3000 mile ride but I'm sure that VB&P could recommend a spring that is better than stock for auotcross w/o sacraficing too much in ride quality.
Good luck

I would go with stiffer swaybars and postpone the springs.

Default Springs

I went with Z06 springs, sway bars and 04 Z06 shocks and am very happy with driveability, performance and cost of swap.
