Default Spring Mountain Callaway Delivery

Wade Tolman and Clair Bowman of Idaho recently attended a one day private class at Spring Mountain. While they were at Spring Mountain Pete Callaway delivered their much anticipated and newly modified Callaways. They flew into Las Vegas commercial but drove home to Idaho in first class accommodations.

When Pete Callaway returned to The Southern California Callaway shop he took one of Spring Mountains 2007 C6 school cars and will return it shortly with some very special modifications

Callaway Supercharged 560 bhp Package w/ C16 Hood, with enhanced cooling system developments.
Callaway Stoptech Le Mans Carbon Ceramic Brake Package (355mm)
Callaway Eibach Multi-Pro Coil-over Suspension
Callaway Dymag Carbon Fiber/Magnesium Wheel Pkg to fit Goodyear availability.
Callaway Sport Seats

The new Spring Mountain Callaway will be available for all Level 1 and Level 2 students to drive.

Not a bad way to market there vehicle's that's for sure! It will be interesting to see how the car holds up to the heat of the track.

I've installed one of there supercharged kits on a C6 and it makes mountians of torque down low. That car had a 6 speed paddle shift but still made 497 rwhp and 485 rwtq! I bet it will be a real handful on the track, but the good kind of handfull.

Cool stuff it will be interesting hearing feedback on that car.

I had the opportunity to drive the Calloway 640 bhp car at Spring Mountain two weeks ago. That car was fabulous. Can't wait for more seat time

Yeah, cool; but not real sure why you'd want a turbo/superchargered car to have around for roadcourse training. Should have went with a NA build instead.

Good reason to stay in school.
I'd sure like to come back and drive that. Probably the closest I'd ever get to having one.

Geez, I always thought it was spelled Call"o"way.

Nah, I'm not that stupid.

Great cars. I'm impressed to see these out there. VERY COOL.

Bink, yes, each student will have the opportunity to drive the Callaway on the track. It will be a regular school car, just as the C6 Z06s are regularly used school cars.

Spring Mountain will be the very best location to test drive the current model Corvettes, learn about the current model Corvettes AND have a great time too.
