Default about Baer front 6 piston calipers

Do they fit on the C5 17 inch stock front wheel and rotor? Or do you need 18 inchers? I think you can buy the calipers separate of the total package and it is cheaper..has anyone done this? Do they take stocksize pads? Is there a drastic improvement in braking? Thinking of getting the Baer 6 pistons or the ssbc tri power calipers...which one do you think will improve braking in the most cost effective way? Been to the Glen and I know there is more performance to be squeezed out of my car when I improve the brakes, especially on the straights...

LGM Wilwoods work great. and have a common pads shape for many compounds. Doubt Baer is a stock shape pad.

Yes you can just buy the calipers and lines. They fit stock rotors or you can run 2 piece Stoptechs which I switched to. They work great. They fit a 17" rim.

LGM is the only place to buy them. http://www.lgmotorsports.com/catalog...oducts_id=1514
