Its a tube frame , glass body, full belly pan, over braked, over powered, over tired IMSA road race car built in 1978. I will run it more next year. It will be faster. Thanks for looking, Glenn Bunch, check my website.

I believe the GPS is pretty close. We ran over 180 that day. A month ago at Mid Ohio , we hit 165 to 167MPH. A week later the IRL cars hit 172MPH. See that video too. I have always liked cubic inches. 804-758-2882 Thanks, Glenn Bunch

going fast and the same lines for the most part.
172 mph into the back straight braking zone, and He hit 160 into the front straight braking zone.
It is just a pleasure to watch and hear : a BIG CUBIC motor running on a track so many of us know.

Looked like he had a 1:54.xx on the 2ND lap. I felt so inadequate after that lap I quit watching. Maybe he even got better in laps 3 and later.

Melting Slicks
In case any of you have not noticed who was driving that bo-hemath, it was no other than "Fast Phil" Currin of Corvette fame. "Fast Phil" has several vintage Corvettes that he vintage races or autocrosses. Phil ran IMSA stuff in the late 60's through the 70's in Corvettes. Phil is a very interesting fellow....I competed against him several times at the Solo Nationals....A fierce competitor he is for sure... I believe he still has a 1963 split-window vintage car and a '68 convertible BSP solo car.
That car is just nutty
Phil is just about as "nutty" as the car.................
