Help! Need onfo on side lexan windows for C6
Do you know who makes the framed side windows for C6 doors?
Or would I have to go with the complete door assembly like C6R?
Thanks.

Five star. May have some fab work to do to mount, however these are oversized side windows . . which should cover just about anything that you'd need.

Thanks,
Five star is a grate company. But they don't offer framing and any solution on how to attach the frame to the door.

IIRC, the frame on the R's wasn't too substantial . . . looked like a equal thickness bonded and riveted in a few key spots. I don't recall if any tabs were used al-la stock, however that may also be an option to keep the window from popping out.

Thanks for all the input, but did anybody put it together for C6?
The door must open with window, and clouse very tight.
I can see some posabilyties when I look at the door. But I just want to hear from some one that did it and raced with it.
Don't want to blow my doors off.
Thanks again.

There was no easy way to do this with the factory door. The GT2 car will have a carbon door with the window frame molded into it.
As for mounting, you never want to use a Rivet of any kind, as it will crack the window. A button head or countersunk fastener works best. The manufacturer should supply a recommended mounting procedure, but we use Dzus fasteners on the front, coundersunk on the rear window and side rain windows.
Hope that helps.
