C6 Z06 Brake Ducts on a C5 Z06???
I can't seem to find any pics of this setup. Anyone have any? Seems like it might be a cheap upgrade that would help a bit. I know it's nowhere near as good as running the full DRM/Spindle duct setup, but I think it would help a bit. Atleast it would get some air directed around the tire. I have searched and found a few posts about it but they are from way back in 06 or early 07. Not many of the pics have made it. Lots of red X's. Anyways if anyone has any pics or experience with this setup please post up.
Thanks
Eric

Well, here is what the finished product looks like
And here's an idea of approximately where you have to make your cuts and the material I used to connect things.
The factory ducts are cut at the white tape and the short ends are switched from right to left on the car. I reconnected the two parts with the .080 aluminum tubing and pop-rivets.
The new C6Z06 ducts are cut at the white tape and fit down into the now directionally reversed ends of the factory ducts. I also used some pop rivetted 2 1/2" X .080 aluminum tubing fit inside the small end of the C6 duct so that the ducting material could be clamped on more easily.
I made my own spindle ducts along the lines of the Phoenix Ducts so they are made of the same 2 1/2" tubing formed to fit the radius of the vane opening on the rotors.
