What does this car have that you couldn't get with a supercharged LS3?

Has Chevy done anything to the chassis or steering? I bet it still has the floppy stock seats too. For the $, I'd rather have a Viper...... :o

"I give it an egg."

For a person with $$, its an easy way to buy a warrantied 650hp Corvette.

Otherwise, I am totally with you on this, sans Viper. I don't care much for Vipers. I think we have to think about the block setup too. Isn't the 427 basically a stroker small block to start with? IE, might have a poor rod/stroke ratio for a blower causing cylinder side wall loading, etc, from piston speed, stress on crank, ... Would have been nice to see a wilder 427. I think we shall never see a 427 again in a Vette

i-c, Good point.

To me, it comes off as Chevy's quickie answer to the 600HP Viper. Bolt on a supercharger.

If it had the 8.2l engine like this Pratt&Miller C6RS car...

now THAT would be

You joined in 03? Have you been under a rock this past few years ? lol

The ZR1 isn't just a 650hp LS3 powered vette with a S/C

What we know so far

Aiming for a sub 3000lb curb weight - Use of Carbon Fiber, magnesium and aluminum is expected

Standard Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Track Tuned Magnetically adjustable Suspension that was tested along side the 599 Fiorano

Just hang on to your ****** for now, we'll know everything before NAIAS

Hey it's a stock 650 hp car which there are few. I thionk there will be even fewer in the future with some of EU new laws that may come in the future. Doubt it's a car with a blower only.
