Many goodies included and because I have had, for the most part, a pleasant experience with the Corvette community, I will knock down the sales price to 21K w/spares from the other advertisements.

Here it is as follows:

2001 Corvette T1 Racecar

2001 Chev Corvette, T1, SCCA, caged, Race Car(22 K+ miles), Speedway White, LS6 Phoenix prepped motor(399RWHP(documented) on 100 unleaded octane) and computer, full T1 suspension, custom 3" exhaust (no restrictions), exh manifolds extrude honed, wired for radio communication through quick release MOMO steering wheel, cool suit cooler with fan and control unit, new rotors/Hawk DTC 70 and 60 pads, goodridge SS brake lines, new Turn 1 PS pump, pulley and custom high psi hose, all necessary elements heat wrapped, Trans pump and cooler, oil cooler and remote oil filter, new belt tensioner and belt, new rack n pinion, Kodiak 3 piece 17lb racing wheels(17x 11, 17x10) w/ Khumo V710 DOTR , DRM front brake ducts, Carbon Fiber Hood, safety net and roll cage with mounted fire extinguisher. All historical reference and documention (SCCA log books, manuals, pedigree 4 year straight 1st place NE Champion, Chris Ingle, 5th (2006) and 6th (2007) place national T1 HPT Runoff's.) This car is well documented and sound.

Car was rear ended at a sideward glance and right side of bumper bar was bent as well as bumper was ripped off.
All wiring was still intact for light but removed when bumper cover was removed as it was just hanging there.
CAR TRACKS STRAIGHT and it runs great and can be race ready with a bumper repair and bumper cover replacement.
Damage on nose of car was done before car was purchased by me and is minor with no structure damage.
Over $9,000 dollars in spare parts including tailpipe tip to replace bent one,10 extra Kodiak 3 piece light weight alumium racing wheels and extra tires, 2 complete half shaft assemblies, 2 extra hoods, tie rods,a clutch worth over 500 dollars, an extra set of brake disks, and many many more parts, slightly used or new, will be included for the price of $23,900 dollars.

I’m ready to make a deal as I need the money, hence the low price. This car can be test driven and checked out and arrangements can be made, with me, for delivery ,if needed, for local and long distance hauls.
Car will be taken to Pomona Swapmeet this weekend if not sold so if you want, come out to Pomona Swapmeet road 14 space 23,25.

Thanx---Ed
It's a shame you are selling so fast, that's a good car and you would have enjoyed racing in T1.

Pull your heads and grind the valves/replace the seals/clean up the deck. That'll get you a grip of power.

This is ridiculous! There are soo many variables with DYNO's! You guys can't be this ignorant , can you? Or are you just stirring the pot!

Moderators, this thread is entirely off base , car has been sold...

Lock it down please! As well as my other in C5 Corvettes for sale!

Regards-Ed Charnock

Aaron, Ed posted his former-Chris Ingle T1 race car for sale and noted a "documented" 399 RWHP.

I saw the post and did an "Internet flip" 'caused I have been the red-headed stepchild in T1 racing a Viper, and all those C5 drivers have been crying poor-mouth because their cars are underpowered.

I posted a quote from the "for sale" thread (this one) as well as a link to this thread on sccaforums.com. That's when things got ugly.

While I was focusing on the HP, others were intent on discussing the "illegality" of some of the car's (ahem) features. It started ugly and went down hill from there.

I truly fill sick to my stomach about the whole episode, because it appears to have caused a fracture in a very close group of people.

Ed, with all due respect, I don't think you can have it both ways here. You can't advertise a "documented 399 RWHP" in one sentence, then change you story when someone questions its legality. The car either made the number or it did not. If it did, you can't hide from it (nor should you); if it didn't you shouldn't be advertising the car in that manner.
