Default Moroso FL

Anybody ever run Moroso in Jupiter FL ??
Is it worth doing ?

I'll be in FL, and I see they have an event that matches my schedule.

Which organization are you looking at? The track itself is pretty cool. to see a hot lap go to www.chinmotorsports.com and look for the video link.
There are no covered garages like Sebring or Homestead but the track at Moroso is pretty cool and definitely worth doing. I like to go in the winter due to low chance of rain. Let me know the dates and the organization, maybe I'll sign up!

I was there a couple times last year with CHIN. It's an okay track and not very well maintained, especially cleaning the track surface. I sustained quite a bit of body and windshield damage after I ran there. I'm also not crazy about having to drive on the back end of the drag strip. Lots of cars go off as they enter it.

Here's one of my laps from last winter. (sound s**ks)

I may go there again this winter, but I prefer Sebring and Homestead.

I live 15 minutes away and bypass Moroso and go to Sebring 90 minutes away. Moroso is poorly maintained, has very little runoff, and is rough on tires, brakes and other parts. When they added a kink in the front straight about 5 years ago, they killed the top speeds and took a lot of the fun away. Every time I go 5 or 6 months without an event, I'll go to Moroso and afterward will vow never to return, only to return a year later or so. It's a love-hate kind of thing.

The track is in very poor condition. Like O'Reilly Raceway Park outside of Indianapolis and Pueblo Motorsports Park entering the straightaway (dragstrip) can be a harrowing experience.

Although Sebring and Homestead are better tracks, I've always enjoyed Moroso (10 tack days there so far). I will be there on December 16th with PBOC. Yes, it is gritty, but I like the layout.
