I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good 2 or 3 day advanced driving school in the northeast or at least east of the Mississippi?
A school that teaches on Corvettes would be

Default corvette school week of Indy 500 at Putnam Park

I have been to 3 of Henry Gilberts corvette schools with both friends and famly members going along. It was a blast. Putnam Park is just west of indianapolis about 1/2 hour drive.
It looks as though some of the instructors are going to be hanging arround on the lapping day and we may have an opportunity for some limited instruction from them on the lapping day which is Tuesday.

Then the school is Wed and Thursday, the structure for that is that you drive the schools cars which are all corvettes. Some are stock c5s some are c5zo6s and there will be two race prepared c5zo6s possibly available for the more advanced students.
In the school there is an instructor in the car with you at all times for both days and you will get a lot of seat time, and some classroom instruction. Also this is not lead follow instruction, it is you being allowed to push the car to the limit of your abilities,
on a real race tack at Putnam Park outside indianaoplis. This event is the week before the Indianpolis 500 next May 2008.

There has been some confusion on prices. The lapping day Tuesday driving your own car is a stand alone event which is 400 bucks and will be limited to 25 higher end cars.
The school is 2 days driving the school's cars with instructors in the cars and is 3500 dollars.

On the previous post by floor it he is referring to a school that we are doing at Indianapolis in May.

I have been to every school (because I own it) but will tell you that we are the ONLY school to have PROFESSIONAL instructors in the car with you EVERY single lap you run. There is no substitute for instant feedback IN the car. Most of our students don't post on the forums, but read their testimonials at:http://www.sportscardrivingexperienc...stimonials.php and see what they have to say.
You get over 6 hours of driving time over the 2 days with some of the best instructors in the business: http://www.sportscardrivingexperienc...nstructors.php
Choose from 3 locations: Palm Beach, Florida, Savannah, Georgia or Indianapolis, Indiana.
