Road America is only 894 miles away for me.... Maybe I can muster enough courage to make that trip. Love checking out new tracks. VIR I'm down with.

I am roughly equidistant....you can stay in Cincy after your first day.

It will be then that we induct you into the RAFT hall of shame with a college-like hazing initiation.

I'm in for anything with the initials NCM, VIR, RA or PA. (The last one is Pamela Anderson.)

Default Ncm

Sign me up for both also. Have heard and read great things about Road America. Long haul from Virginia but it will be worth it. Hope to see you at both events Tom.

I go to Road America as often as I can since it is very close by and this event looks interesting. I have not ever gone to a NCM event though. What are they like? It is hot lapping or different run groups?

Edit, the website doesn't have all that much info. Any idea pricing? How do you get cleared for solo driving?

I started chewing away at the chain they strap from my leg to my desk. SO with any luck I will be able to get out to Road America.

Randy
PS Joel are all the spots on your floor accounted for all ready??? The Howard Johnson gave me a red foot for about 3 monthes, not kidding. I used about 4 bottles of spray to get rid of that crap.

Tom, I'm game for both. Put me on the list of instructors, please.

It's going to take me two days to get to RA from Eastern PA, but it is in my "to do" list.

The NCM HPDEs are true High Performance Drivers Education. NOT HOT LAPPING AT ALL. Your not going to tippy toe around either. If you just want to HOT Lap this event is not for you.

We will have instructors in just about if not all cars. Even Advance students need to learn new things, and will have in car instructors.

Many of our previous students have commented that they have learned more in our Two day HPDEs, then several other HPDEs combined plus more then even a basic racing school. We have also had several students who have been doing TT for OVER 5 years, comment that they finally learned how to read a track and take quicker and smoother laps then in 5 years of high speed time trialling.

Plus we will have at least 16 Corvette / GM Engineers or program managers in attendance as Students or Instructors.

The NCM HPDEs are great ways to rub elbows with your fellow corvette forum members.

More information will be posted about the events will be posted first on the NCM web site then here in early Jan.

Registration for the VIR event will start in Late Jan.

Not to after VIR is sold out. But then again last year that took one hour 45 mins. I would say Late Feb to mid March.

I will do every thing I can to let ppl know as soon as possible about more information. Subscribing to the NCM E-news is best.

YES it does help. If you are not a member, then $50 is added to price of registration and you become a member.

If you are a member before registration opens, it does make registration go smoother at that time.

The programers are finalizing an ON line instructor registration ( that No charge computer glitch is almost worked out. ) We will send out a NCM list server email to the instructor list when current instructors can register on line.

Instructors that would like to instructor for the NCM but have not done so, please send me an email with your driving background, teaching background ( if any) and references from Chief Instructors or other NCM instructors.

We need teachers & communicators plus great driving skills as instructors. It is the communication skills of our instructors that make the NCM events FIRST CLASS.

Thank you too all the NCM instructors, you guys MAKE the event.
