Default Sebring FL CHIN Motorsports Track Days 12/22-12/23 - Who's Going??

Hey All,

I will be heading down for two days to do some laps in a couple Vettes and maybe a Mazda. Just wondering who else will be heading to Sebring before the holiday. I will be available for tuning and diagnosis and may have some scales and toe plates available to check setups.

Hope to see a bunch of CF folks there

I wish we could make it this year - great timing and Chin is great fun to run with - but we are committed to a Boy Scout canoe trip instead....

Ya'll have fun now....

We initially planned for the Okefenokee (great trip - in Dec - by the way) - since I do not care for hiking with canoes I swapped over to running a section of the Savannah River just below Augusta, GA....

Sebring is always calling - great track and great times there..

It will be cool to see you folks down there. Look for a full size 18 wheel hauler with 32 on the trailer. I should be somewhere nearby.

I know all about the Boy Scout trips and being a Florida boy now, nit sure I could handle a December trip on a day like we have today with a 38* morning

I'll be there both days. I am looking forward to finally having my chance at Sebring.

Mike, I have heard your name in the LS1 community for years now. I look forward to seeing your cars and having an opportunity to chat.

At least the cold temps keep the bugs at bay...

You have built a couple of cars for friends of mine up here in the Augusta-Aiken area...

I am already missing Sebring...

Looks like it should be a decent CF turnout. Definitely need to register early, especially for these "winter" events here in FL.

Diesel68, look forward to seeing you there and thanks for the kind words.

The hauler and cars belong to Bandit Racing. There is two tellow Vettes, a C6R (32) and C5R (36) car that have both raced in the Speed Challenge Series. You can see the C5R on the home page of my website at www.mikenorrismotorsports.com and the C6R on the dyno at http://www.mikenorrismotorsports.com/Dyno___Tuning.html

Then there is also a DRM C5 Z06, 2007 Z06 and a couple red Miatas. Like I mentioned, there is the number 32 on the mainly white with red car hauler trailer as well as a HD one car enclosed black trailer with Corvette Racing and C5 crossed flags on it.

If you are looking for me I can be reached on my cell at 407-616-2518. I look forward to seeing folks there. If we get enough folks for some basic tuning changes we can make a great deal for everyone.

I'll be there but without my car . I guy I may be co-driving with in PBOC is testing his car there that weekend, and I will happen to be in Tampa visiting my sister for CHRISTmas, so I am going to drive down and watch on saturday. I'll prolly go back for winterfest to prepare for NASA time trials down there this summer.

I will be in Fort Meyers for the week visiting in-laws#$%^! I thought it would be cool to sneak off and get some track time in, but can't find a way to get my car there from North Carolina. I would like to do the track though.

Hey All,

I will not be making it back to the track today, but yesterday was fun for sure. Good seeing a bunch of folks as well as had a good talk with LG. No, I did not have a trailer with me but I left with one with a Vette on it. Always seems to be some work looking for a home at the track.

Anyone see the Porsche GT3 modify the left side of his car in Turn 1? And what are the thoughts on the Bugatti that was there? We were out in the silver C5 Vette in the 4PM session with the guy and he was supposedly trying to get around us down the front stretch into one. Cool car and it takes a lot of guts to run that car out there

Thanks again to all that came by, good to see you Lou and sorry I am not making it back to the track today.

Mike Norris
