What size fuel safe fuel cell fits in a C4???

I have the current Fuel Safe brochure and all their 15 gal tanks are 18" deep; (front to back). The stock fuel tank is only 12" deep. There is enough clearance between the brake light housings and the rear cockpit panel for 15-16"...but not 18"

The only way I can see making the 15 gal Fuel cell work is to cut the rear fiberglass drop panel since it will need clearance towards the front. Also, where would the fill neck be centered...Under the rear hatch glass???

Contact Dave Wehlie at Melrose T-Tops. He has a complete system for the C4 including an ATL 22 gal fuel cell, mounting bracket, fuel pump and filter. It is a complete bolt in system, all you have to do is run the fuel lines.

I have the 22 gallon ATL cell and setup Vector Vette described above. Replaced the steel fuel cell can this summer with their aluminum one. Did all of the work in my garage. The Melrose cage holding the fuel cell bolts to the rear of the C4 body. Removing the rear bumper makes the work easier.

Mine has been in the car for so long that I don't remember for sure. It is probably best to contact Melrose for a current price.
