Default Would a vacuum pump be helpful on the track?

Just curious, if a vacuum pump would be beneficial to a track day car. Beyond the few HP it would help me pick up, would it be a good investment? With the pump I wouldn't need to run PCV back into the intake so it should avoid oil consumption through the intake like Dirty Howie struggles with, and I struggle w/ dumping too much oil off the lines on my valve covers into my catch can. But since I wouldn't have to vent the motor anymore I should be able to just run the lines together valve cover to valve cover solving my woes. But where can I pull the vacuum from w/o having the pump pull tons of oil (obviously not from the valve covers)?

Thoughts?
