Default Double Clutch..from N is clutch 1/2 out or all out..

When doing a double clutch shift...does one let the clutch pedal all
the way out from nuetral or just half way out..?

As I understand it double clutching is unnecessary..but in
reading some old threads some people
said they thought it caused less wear while others said it caused
More wear..

Default

Let it out far enough that it engages...so it spins the shaft.
