new to hoosiers what do i need to know before VIR

Default new to hoosiers what do i need to know before VIR

what do i need to know before i find out ... yup some times they do that,, the tire rack is out of my v710 for thr forseeable future.. im going to vir and need tires ... i understand r6 are for road race and a6 is for auto-x true ?? i saw a few a-6 on t1 cars this year do you guys use them for qualifying?? what up?? i assume for 315 tire press is the same for kumo as for hoosier..

Im just the opposite. I have never run the 710s, only hoosiers. I run cold pressures around 27-28, but depends on track conditions. If it was real cold in the morning, I would bump it up to 30-31. All depends. New R6's are like having super glue between you and the road

I have been hearing from alot of guys that the A6's are great for track days too. They are saying as long as you are not running more than 20-30min sessions then tire wear should not be a prob. I think most of the T1 guys are running the A6's.

about 90 mins track time to use up a set of a6s

r6 better coice than a6???

i buy all my tires for everthing 2 vetts 4 trucks and three trailers from the tire rack....
