I tried the search and never found anything. Anybody know what the stock C6 (Base) seat weighs versus a Sparco Evo?

I want ot see if there is enough difference to jusify the purchase.

I can't tell you the difference as I haven't weighed them but when I swap out the stock ones for my Kirkey's, they feel very heavy - at least 2x what the kirky's & seat rails weigh. Most of the weight obviously at the base, especially with the driver seat and all the electric motors etc. but even the passenger seat is much heavier.

Thanks John but I must be blind cause I went over that thread at least 10 times and still never saw the weight on the C5 seat. Like I said, I must be blind.

post 159 180 area I dumped seats and rugs and it was 110 lbs.

I weighed the power seats in my C5 and they were ea. 45lbs.
