MVP Track Time
Hey Guys,
This will be my first road racing experience in my own car. I just signed up for the June 2nd event at the Joliet Autobahn country club with MVP track time... I can't wait. Thought I would post to see if anyone else was planning on attending. I found out about this company by reading one of the threads here. Looks to be a blast. Hope some of you guys will be there.

We have a group from ST. Louis that might be coming up to do the event. Mark (MVP) runs a first class event with lot of run time. Autobahn is a fun track and it will be the full course.
Maybe see you in June. Got PFDAT coil overs put on a couple weeks ago and I am chomping at the wheel to get on a track

I plan to attend also. I ran with the group for the first time last year at Putnam. I found the Monday date to be less crowded than most of the other HPDE's I have attended the past few years. Mark, as stated by Miller, runs a first class operation. You WILL have fun and lots and lots of track time. Also, one can offer rides to friends in order to pass on the experience to others. I have never been to Autobahn so I am looking forward to it.
Oh yeah, the groups are as well behaved as one will find. Mark does take safety seriously and he knows a safe event is a FUN event.

Can't wait!
Only 4 and 1/2 months to go!
Got some more snow today. My new brake pads and stainless steel lines arrived. Gotta wait for some warmer weather to get those installed. Look forward to seeing you guys there.

Road America with MFBA
If you can't wait till June these guys run in April at Road America in Wisc.
http://roadamerica.fbody.us/ They also have an event in October too.
I have come up from St. Louis with a group of guys and cars the last 4 years and will do it again this year too. I think the tenative date for April is the 12/13th. 4 mile track with speeds on the front and back straight of 140 mph or more depending on car.
Good group, instruction available or just drive. You can take passengers also.

Gents:
Thanks for the kind words. MVP tries to put on a great event, but it only works because of the great people we have attending our events. We know you have a choice....

Hi All:
MVP Track Time (www.MVPTrackTime.com) is very excited about our track schedule for the 2009 track season.
As many are feeling the effects of the economic downturn, MVP has kept pricing the same as 2008. With all the economic bad news, I hope this reaches you as some good news. We aim to bring the best track value to you. Below you will find our 2009 schedule, subject to revision if necessary.
April 18-19: Putnam Park ”Tax Freedom Track Weekend” - SOLD OUT!
June 1: Autobahn Country Club (FULL 3.56 mile track) - SOLD OUT!
August 3: Autobahn Country Club II (FULL 3.56 mile track)
September 5-6: Blackhawk Farms ”No Hurricane Rain Track Weekend”
September 7-8: Virginia International Raceway ”Labor Day Speed Fix”
September 28, 2009 - Summit Point (Main Course)
October 31 – November 1: Watkins Glen ”Halloween Fright FAST!”
November 21 – 22: Road Atlanta “Flyin Turkey Trot”
The weather of late tells me Ole’ Man Winter is on his way out. When Spring finally arrives, I hope you’ll gear up for some much needed fresh air and join MVP Track Time at the track.
Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at the track in 2009!
