Default The Moton Shock Fairy Arrived Today

Showed up on steps today and I can't keep from drooling all over them.

Just wanted to say I bought these from Chris Ingle and the transaction was awesome. I have a lot of reading/learning to do on these but they say they are the Chit.

I can take off the Sachs now and hopefully gain a little time. Got the shocks, now need a fresh engine. GETTING THERE!

Those are so bad ***. I'd like to try those too.

Is that the motorsports edition? Doubles or triples.

Either way congrats.

So you're looking at T1 leafs are 600/800 T1 bars and MOTON Triples?

I thought I wouldn't like the T1s as the front bar is huge. But a friend of mine got some and I really like it. They work well with coilovers with a little less front spring rate like the T1 leaf setup. It would be interesting to see how the high speed adjustment affects handling. Especially on curbing. Hmmm. Look forward to hearing how you like 'em. Good luck this year buddy.

Sweet!

I have enough trouble with DAs. What's the third adjustment, slow speed bump?

Dang sweet setup!!!

I have the dual adjustable coilovers and they are incredible(wish I had three ways!) the car handles exceptionally well, great ride and takes the curbs like they are tiny little things

Have fun!!!!

Yeah. TA should be Rebound, High Speed Bump and Low Speed Bump. You can even get Quad Adjustable these days. Talk about crazy. Low and high speed in both bump and rebound!

My favorite shock/suspension people keep trying to convince me that it's actually easier to set up triples than doubles because you actually get a seperate adjustment for, say, weight transfer versus rumble strips...

Aaron,
Congrats!!! These seem to be the ticket for T-1 today High speed adjustment is not for banging the curbing, so be carefull there. It is a very tricky balance, requires lots of testing. But I am sure Chris didn't send them to you off in left field, so you can take what he has learned and try to make them better.

Congrats Aaron! Maybe in my sophomore season I'll be ready for those, but I expect this year the SACHS will be the last thing holding me back!

Looking forward to watching you drive away from me with your shiny new shocks!

Gotcha Randy! No curb bouncing. Chris sent them as they were on his car so I will only have to make a few minor changes. I plan to get it as close to neutral balanced and then play with settings from there. Your right though, lots of testing and note keeping.

Mikah,
Who's to say I wont be seeing your shiny shocks from behind, you are quite a driver and will do just fine in T1.

Aaron,
You didn't understand maybe. It's ok to hit curbing at most tracks. But don't mess up your high speed to just work good over the curbs. Getting a car setup for curb hitting isn't going to help as much as getting the car to handle the small bumps-ripples coming out of every corner.

What Randy says is the truth. I didn't mean to imply high-speed bump was only for rumble strips. :-)

Congrats on the Motons.

I have their two way adjustables and have had very good luck with them. Once you get the car sorted out you should be a very happy camper!
