I like the stance your car has. Now stretch the muscles of that C4 on a road course!

So, how did you do in your class? Also, how many times did you get to autocross last year?

Looks like you had a great time! Our first event isn't until March 1st.

Have a good one,
Mike

No road courses here Steve, they are still fighting for our track back. And I cant wait to get my new springs, ball joints and bushings in.
I dont do well in BSP, as I dont have sticky tires, or at least R coumpunds like the rest due. The 240Z that is the Chief Chief of SCCA out here is run by 3 different people, him his wife and daughter all in BSP, and they are usually 3-4 seconds ahead.
Hey it got cold last night, I had to shut my windows and put a blanket on, as it hit the low low 60's, BBBBRRRRRRR!

Wow Steve, you guys have that huge lot, but they don't let you stretch your legs out much...

We have a small 300x600' lot & we like to open it up as much as we can.
Here are some vids of a few configs w/ my old C5Z (before I defected ). Maybe you can twist someone's arm over there to let you get some speed!

Sorry abt the 30+ second delay before starting:

An event w/ the Porsche club:

Thx for the vids

Nice vids. What do you compress or convert it to.My vids went from DVD-R camera to a AutoGK program. But the quality seems to suffer. Yours looks great.
Do you have R compunds? Yours hooks and sound great.

Unfortunately, I have no clue how they were uploaded--my gal did them :o

My car had Kuhmo 710s on them w/ big CCWs. Headers/X-pipe/HF cats w/ stock Ti (the best, IMO) exhaust. Here's what it looked like:

Sweet ride. I cant wait to get R compunds, as I know my times will drop. I felt horrible when a BMW station wagon beat me, of course he had R compounds.

Ok, folks, since we've hit our high for the day at 40 (right now down to 36), the wind's out of the north at 15 mph, and I'm going stir crazy, here are two videos from this last year's BMW autocross season:

1st, the small course:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QowaUEaL_A

and the big course (Mineral Wells, TX). Big ole 2nd-3rd gear course :

Wow, nice courses. Sometimes the local course designers try to get too much into a layout.

Here's one of the East Course, ProSolo Finale in Topeka, KS last year. I shot these on the morning of the first day of competition to review for the rest of the competition. I eventually cut 1.3 seconds off of this side of the course so it's not my best, but it gives you a feel of what a national ProSolo course will look and drive like and how it flows:

Enjoy!

I too have my kids do it for me. I think they just use MS Moviemaker. The camera is a digital Panasonic with a wide angle lense and I use a ChaseCam window mount.

In case you dont' have 2 other rims, you want to do all 4, otherwise the car won't be balanced in the corners, and you won't be able to STOP fast enough!

WOW--those are some GREAT venues!

I run w/ the NCCC guys as well, out of Tampa @ an airstrip (typical up & back course) & we get up in the triple digits regularly--big fun

Yeah, I need two more rims to complete the set I have in the shed. Then I will get four tires.
