NICE looking work - you are making me drool this time of year when the Vette is in hibernation.

It's never fun after you put cages in. But we would give up a little comfort for saftey any day of the week. The reason why the door bar is in the same plane as everything else, it adds stiffness to the cage. We normally run a bar kinda like a drag race bar. But our customer doesn't have a horse jockey build. He is a normal mid-wester build about 210 and almost 6 foot tall. With that size the additional door bar becomes a funny bone hitter from hell.
