Default First "Speed racer" has been sold!!!

Well many of you guys remember our "Speed Racer" project. We took a down payment of one last week. The idea was to build inexpensive race cars for the club racer. Nothing trick just good old fashin fast car. No extra bling, just things to make the car fast and light. The car is staying in the US which is a very good thing! We will be starting on the project as soon as parts start coming in. The body is on order, the drivetrain and suspension pieces. We did a couple upgrades on the build to increase the performance, but the build still came in at a pretty $$$ low number. There will be a couple month writeups in a maganize, but I will be showing you guys pictures as the build goes on. We are pumped to start production, it will take some time to get things rolling. We have started to prep the shop, a couple extra tanks for the welders, band saw blades and sanding equipment and getting some sleep because the first one will take a ton of hours but that will pay off on the 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th one. I have a couple more people on the fence with the project, I do think after we get the first one built, we will sell some more!!!

Here is a post to my sales thread, and yes the customer saw it on the Corvetteforum
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1846404

So I have a couple questions for you guys.
Should we change the name of the car because "speed racer" has kinda been used and the new movie is coming out?
What color should we paint it?
The chassis will be painted light grey.

If you guys know anyone else that is on the fence, push them on our side

Randy

Looking forward to seeing the build-up and then how the car performs on the track.

The white I would go for, but with red wheels. I don't think my customer would like that. Bling yes, butt ugly, kinda.

Keep it one, easy to match color. After a few races, it'll have scrapes, bruises, and sandblast. An easy color makes it inexpensive and quick to repair.

I would probably just drop the "road racer" and go with the DRM C6RR.
Short, sweet and with brand recognition.

I like;

spec corvette gt race car
drm c6rr
drm c6 road racer
drm corvette gtr

those are all good.

The color now, man, you could go good with the GS paint scheme of years ago, or a hundred others that would look sharp.

Now, for the meat of my post:

Would you accept four of my smaller fingers as payment?
