Finally! We might see some action this year in GT1!
Thank goodness they didn't pull Corvette Racing this season. Sure will be interesting to see how this pans out!

The Aston Martin DBR9 is a very beautiful car! Great to see them come back to AMLS to run with the Corvettes

That's great news. I really do enjoy watching the GT1 cars more than the prototypes. Hope they level the rules this year to keep things equal between the DB9 and the Z06.

Ain't that the truth.
But, I gotta say, Prototype is going to be VERY interesting. Peugeot is in P1 now, Acura has a new chassis in P2, and we have the Porsche-Acura battle going to be continued.
I'm telling you guys, this may very well be the best season to date.

The aston is being campaigned by a privateer team, which with out the driver lineup of the factory C6R team, will have a difficult time keeping pace.

They were running times competitive to that of a GT2 effort, low 2:00s

Jim Bell is very formidable competition. Drivers are not selected yet.

That is definitely true as well. With the Vettes in GT2, including LG, I'll be paying a lot more to that class than I have before. Will be a good season for ALMS.

thats awesome news, it will be a thrill to be cheering the corvettes in 2 classes, and Ill be equally as excited about the Vantage battling with Lou. throw in the Panoz,Ferraris, Porsches and it will be amazing!!!
