Default NASA Nationals ST-1 Race Start!

Okay boys, get out those sandpaper gloves because the sound from this video will give you some serious wood.

This video was shot from Z06Racer's (Bob Mayer) car and it is a good video. In fact, it has Danny & the Tom Glen's collision at the start of the race.

This is some serious speed for these ST1 cars (5.5 #'s per horsepower)

Giddy Up, Elvira! and turn up the speakers!

Pretty cool...................Defineatly can see who started the race, wasn't quite what the race director had in mind.

FWIW for you ST1 Hopefuls......Dont go side-by-side with a Viper Comp Coupe with the head restraint seats.....the drivers are blind as a bat...............

I'd like to see Aaron's video....

If it was only baskets I would be in! Need is more like a 10 yard dump truck! I'm stuck in Miata/BMW land...

Was it dry or did you have some earth movers out on the track with you? Lots of dust clouds... Awesome vid.

Glorious soundtrack. What a competitive race! It was like the green flag came and those guys around you all jumped like crazy.

Really cool video! My BMW loving son liked it almost more than I did
----------------------

There was a wingless, silver Z that passed just to the right then was passed right back, ST2 car, not enough power. I have that car now and rebuilding it into a very serious ST1 spec car but with ST2 power for now, more juice later in the plans. I am going to run TT, HPDE, etc, for now and see how I feel about W2W over the season, may join in later in the year if I am fast enough(the car will be, not sure about me

---------------------

Thanks for the fun!

Rick

I think that silver Z was a ST1 car. If I'm not mistaken he was originaly registered as a ST2, but dynoed too much and had to move up to ST1.

The only way I know that is that I was there running in ST2.
