Max castor? and alignment
Alright, I remember seeing this somewhere but I cannot remember where, nor did searching work. But Whats the "max" castor for a pure race car C5. I have a 98 c5 thats strictly a ST-2 race car.
As for an alignment I'm thinking
-2.5 F with 1/16 Toe out
-1.5 R with 0 toe for now
What do you all think?

Agreed. I tried 0 toe for a while and spent a bunch of time and money chasing the balance of the car with swaybars before setting 1/16" toe-in in the rear. MUCH MUCH better. And I think some more rear bar, and some more toe-in would make it even happier!
I gave up caring about caster... it seems if you have enough static camber it just isn't worth chasing.

8 degrees or so. The point is to get as much castor as you can evenly on both sides. You may not be able to get -2.5camber AND maximum castor, so it's always a battle of comprimises. The trick is to find someone who can optimze both as closely as possible.

What is NOT optional is rear toe in. I would suggest you start with 1/8 and maybe increase it to 1/4. This will keep the rear planted in turns at the expense of some rear tire wear and some additional drag down the straights.
Alignment adjustments are ALL compromises. Try some variations and see what you like best.
