SKF Racing Hubs are now available from LG Motorsports.

LG Motorsports would like to introduce a performance hub for your C5 and C6 with the heart of a ZR1. SKF manufactures the hub unit for the ultimate Corvette, the new ZR1 and is offering the same technology to the C5 and C6 owner.

Burning Brakes
They came to two local Corvette Clubs with a presentation on these hubs and I asked about C4. Not going to happen.

What I think they meant to say that with piston knock back you will have a long pedal (which you will) and you will need to tap the pedal to get it back up. I don't know how they inserted the phrase "trail braking" in there but they probably had a girl write the pamphlet and something got lost in the translation.
In reality, we have all experienced the dreaded "Long Pedal" and had to deal with it. Call it what you want but it is not fun. At Long Beach, toward the end of the race, you are flying around the 160mph high speed sweeper, loading the bearings on the left side, and it took a couple of "confidence taps" on the pedal with the left foot, just before the brake zone to make sure you had a firm pedal.
Another place that the bearings caused knock back was the esses at Road Atlanta, heading into turn 5. that was always a good one.
foot to the floor on the gas, and tapping the pedal with your left foot to overcome the brake knock back.
Jonathan needs to change that to read "eliminates the need to tap the brakes" in place of "need to trail brake".
At any rate, forget what they said, you know what them mean.
