C6 Vette Racing Bodies

not that I know of..........they were given the original contract and pre-production pieces by GM, and I doubt it's been cost effective for anyone else to copy them (also would be copyright infringement probably)

I had heard that, I left them a message, but no response.
I am looking for the one piece cowl/windshield frame and roof. Have everything else I need.

Black Dog used to use ACP's parts, but I guess they may have started making their own.
this is old info, but I used to contact them at BDRRaceshop at aol dot com or 847............689.........4 930

I thought in most pro series you had to buy the parts from the named supplier?

"The only body work permitted is that approved by Grand Am." My body is stock, with gutted doors etc. and was approved by Grand Am. I would like to find a used, but useable ACP or similar roof/windshield.

Not exactly what you are looking for but I will probably sell a complete C6 WC body, brand new, wing, undertray, just the doors and door sills are stock C6 parts.
I have around $15k into this, willing to sell for much less, two kids just started college(after way to long bugging them to go) and now my racing plans have to be altered but worth taking care of my kids.

Chief, have you tried Derhaag? Or see if Ave has anything left over from Joey? Or, contact a SWCGT team that ran Vettes and see if they have any parts laying around.
Or, as a final solution, drive up to Dave's house and cut off his. He doesn't need it any more.

Todd, I don't think Jim ever made a GA/SWGT body but i could be wrong.
I will try AVE.
I was up near Dave's territory on Friday (Roehrig Engineering in Lexington) delivering one of the stock cars back from where it was born.
I met Dave once at Sebring several years ago, I think he could be armed and dangerous.
Rick, I'll give you a call.

World Challenge rules used to force competition amongst suppliers, so teams could replicate parts. However, I think GM panels would still require GM approval. We made our own splitter for some time, however, as the the C5 ACP piece was really flimsy.
