Caliper dust boots - upgrade?

they need to be wrapped no rubber will survive the heat even one good hot session. Try a search and you will see some pictures here how to do it. Hardbar also makes a nice little shield for tie rod ends. Forget about dust boots and running the track. You need some brake ducting form LGM and DRM for the front.

I agree with John - forget about the dust boots if you regularly track your car. All you are going to do is burn them up. I ran three years on stock calipers without boots. Just be sure to blow the dust and garbage off the pistons prior to pushing them back in the bore when changing pads.

Just pull them off from the get go when you replace calipers, or pull them off of the current caliper. They turn into charred messes anyway. Like posted earlier, just drench the caliper in brake cleaner before pushing the pistons in. I haven't ran dust boots in years.
