shocks and front bar on SS C5Z?
I'm looking into possible cars for next autox season and trying to get an idea of setup costs associated with each one.
Does the C5Z need upgraded Shocks and Front bar to compete on a national level? Is anybody running stock parts at the national level?
High dollar shocks are out of the question...are single adjustable konis or pfadts worth the change?

There are those who are fast with the stock front bar, and also those who have won tours with the stock shocks. The '04 OEM shocks are the best stock shocks. Chis Ramey won a lot with an alignment and sticky tires...but that was then and this is now.
The Z06 is very fast out of the box with an alignment and good tires. FWIW. If you want to win Nationals then you'll need to spend a few thousand more for a few upgrades, IMHO.
Good luck.

Dr. Hurley,
Ramey did good that year, but his jacket wasn't in SS (he finished 2nd or 3rd)---it was in FS. He just won a bunch of tours and pros that year.
IMO----your good to go as is----for now.
